{"id":620,"date":"2017-03-02T18:49:46","date_gmt":"2017-03-02T18:49:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spmstaff.com\/?p=620"},"modified":"2019-12-30T14:24:48","modified_gmt":"2019-12-30T14:24:48","slug":"spm-february-walk-abouts-summary","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/spmstaff.com\/?p=620","title":{"rendered":"SPM February Walk-Abouts Summary"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The summary from the staff walk-abouts \u00a0and provider meeting for February:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Staff<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Operations seem to be going smoothly.<\/li>\n<li>Need to address document prep for visits, e.g. making sure that hospital notes have been received prior to a hospital follow up visit.\n<ul>\n<li>eCW may have a \u201cpending\u201d jelly bean options that can help with this.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Will try to schedule a Lyme talk for staff.<\/li>\n<li>All staff should be getting transcripts of voice mails sent to email.<\/li>\n<li>Focus on customer service within bounds, i.e. helping the patient to the extent that our policies allow.\n<ul>\n<li>Lower capacity means increased boundaries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Staff web site needs to be checked each morning with email.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Providers<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Patients who haven\u2019t been seen for three years are inactive patients. They would need to reestablish as new patients.<\/li>\n<li>Need to make sure that scheduling reflects purpose of visit. \u201cFollow up\u201d is too general. \u201cRefill\u201d needs to include medication.<\/li>\n<li>The rendering provider needs to be checked with scanner documents.
